Giclée prints are fine-art quality prints produced on an Iris ink jet printer. This top of the line, high quality printer prints an image at a perceived resolution of 1,800 dots per inch. These microscopic dots produce astoundingly accurate color.

Giclées can be printed on a variety of surfaces and are applied with UV-resistant coatings. Some treatments make giclée prints reasonably water-resistant.

Iris printers yield reproductions that appear surprisingly similar and have many of the same qualities as an original painting - to the point that they're nearly indistinguishable.

Archival quality papers should have a neutral or slightly alkaline pH. Archival materials are more permanent than other papers and less likely to experience discoloration or deterioration over time.

High quality archival pigmented inks have revolutionary levels of durability and lightfastness of up to 200 years with no fading issues. As considered for indoor display and framed under glass.
